Dry ice cleaning removes contamination and nothing else. The medium sublimates to gas the instant it lands, so there is no run-off, no residue and no spent abrasive, often with no need to dismantle or shut down. Exactly what your operation needs. Nothing it doesn't.

One process

Solid to gas, in a fraction of a second.

Sublimation is the shift straight from solid to vapour, with no liquid stage. It is the whole principle behind the work, and the reason nothing is left behind.

Freeze

Rice-grain pellets of solid CO₂ at −78.5 °C strike the surface and flash-freeze the layer of grime, soot or coating, making it brittle and breaking its grip on the material beneath.

Release

Carried in compressed air at roughly 150 m/s, the pellets lift the frozen contaminant away by thermal shock, not by grinding. The surface underneath is never touched.

Vanish

The pellet sublimates on impact and expands nearly 800× as it turns to gas. The cleaning medium ceases to exist. All that remains to collect is the contamination itself.
